A sometimes soloution for this, is that you can often get plasticized
manufacturers logo stickers in just the right size circle to cover the
centre cap. And it doesn't cost a major fortune to have a few made up either.
ie., for a TR6, you ought to be able to find/make either TRIUMPH or TR6
stickers.
