Subject: Copper Fuel Lines
In putting my 1970 spitfire back together I find that I need new fuel lines.
I saw an article in a british hobiest car mag. that suggested the use of
copper. I assume that one can use the type of soft copper that is available
in plumbing stores. It would be much easer that the steel lines normally used
and it would have the advantage of not rusting out. Has anyone tried this?
I've also seen brake lines made from copper, but i think thoes may need to
have special fittings.
