Of course you bashed...though you may not have meant to!

If you've ever been to a Bricklin event, you will see a very high % of  
quality cars.
Owners that take advantage of club membership and network or attend  
events, tend to have
high quality cars, or more importantly, have cars that are being cared  
for and are improving them~which is the goal of many owners.  Many of  
these cars have either been rescued (like mine & Jacques), or have  
been acquired cars & and had owners make improvements that would have  
been made had Bricklin
not gone bankrupt.

I also know of a few original cars that have been well maintained,  
look good, and are dependable.  I think you've made false assumptions  
based on viewing cars that for whatever reason, haven't been properly  
cared for.  Hell, even modern cars not cared for soon look like sh**  
and run the same way.

To your question, I'm inviting you to join the club and feel free to  
use the provided resources.  There are many listed vendors that will  
have the parts you seek...

If you're intent is to improve a Bricklin you own, welcome...
