I would agree with you Claude to the extent a Dumb Previous owner hasnt
screwed them up. My 756 has sat for long periods of time with no problems
and we are the original owner family. But i have also bought collector cars
that were really screwed up. fortunately I can work on them myself. while
working at an auto parts store in my 20's, I quickly realized that very few
shops could be trusted so I learned how to fix them myself. Pugs

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the the Bricklin is one of THE
EASIEST cars to work on ,as it has,no onboard computers,Fuel injection,ABS
Brakes,electronic dash,ect,ect,I have owned Bricklin's since 1980,and if the
car is well taken care of,it will always run right, since 1980,I have spent a
grand total of $830.00 for parts Replacement on TWO Bricklins (not including
oil changes/tune ups)if you guys stop beating/modifing your cars and run
them stock(I went thru that Modifying your car crap with my GTO's and they
always sat in a garage or my back yard Broken down, until I WISED up,and made
my GTO'S stock,as setup from the factory, then they ran PERFECT).(as mine
are)you will find that the Bricklin will run flawlessly,as setup from the
factory, you want a "street racer" get a Mustang, and if you Think my Bricks
are neglected heaps, take a look at the Bricklin home page,or on Egroups
BRICKLINEWS,and you will see that, that isn't so,My cars ALWAYS start and run
excellent,EVEN,if I store them for YEARS,as I have done with Vin # 1024,the
main thing is to store them in a Garage, with a decent car cover,DRAIN the
gas out, change the oil and filter/antifreeze,and you will find that,as setup
from the factory,is the best way to go on a Bricklin.(except maybe the door
system)

Claude
vin1024/1136
Still running perfect since 1980
