As James so correctly said:
"if you can't drive on the street with your tires then you are not
driving a
'true street' car anymore".
Given that, I would expect a higher penalty, say 2% or 3% instead of a measly
1%.

Subject: Read ONLY if you have a "True Street" autocross car!
Announcing a Concurrent Race Series called the "True Street Autocross
Series" in the San Francisco Bay Area
As the name implies, "True Street Autocross Series" is for cars used as real
cars- no trailer queens or race-only cars need apply!
Winners declared in "Raw Time" and "Pax Time" divisions. The series is
dedicated to the idea that there is a fundamental difference between street
cars and race cars, and cars that are "True Street" should be recognized
separately.
*** Why True Street? ***
Cross class competition
------------------------
"True Street"s PAX Time division lets drivers from different classes compete
against each other. Remember the old PAX class? Now, beat up on your class
competition AND other hotshoes at the same time!
Baddest Street Cars
---------------------
Formerly banished to OSP, the most fire breathing and wild street cars are
free to cut loose without losing to pure-race trailer cars in the RAW Time
division!
Fewer Events
--------------
With only 12 events and 3 drops, run just half the number of events required
in SFR SCCA and pick up a trophy!
Get the details and rules at: http://thevenom.net/truestreet.html
Thanks, and see you Sunday!
