Not that I want to start another debate about Miata specifications, but I
can't help myself.
My '91 redlined at 6500, and my '01 redlines at 7000, but both had/have rev
limiters at 7250. What's your redline John? I just realized that the
redline was the source of my confusion on the gearing of my '91. I swore up
and down that it was geared shorter than my '01 because I know I had to
shift earlier, but as soon as I wrote the first sentence of this paragraph I
realized why. That's a pretty stupid thing to overlook.
