I have taken to wearing a belt-buckle my daughter gave me as a joke. She
got it at a yard sale in Wisconsin for a dime. It is a brass buckle which
spells out the name PHIL. We figure the proto-Phil must have been an
un-missed former boyfriend.
It does cause some problems. I have had Oldtimers all my life concerning
names and faces. People come up to me I don't remember where I know them
from. Now people I don't know come up and call me by name. Adds another
dimension to my usual befuddlement.
