Mark... what next... "SCCA shouldn't promote installing non-emission legal
Headers, Heads, Cam, Intakes the list goes on, and on... this is one small
area... The fact is any one of these makes a car 'non' emissions legal... if
you don't like the rules... don't play in the class!
Fact is this... SM gave a place for all those 'street' cars that were modded
beyond SP (usually Heads & Cam, and Exhaust)... yet were no where near the
limits of Prepared (had full interiors, etc.)
So let it rest... or start writing letters! But when SM is designed to be
quicker than SP... it makes NO sense to put more restrictions on the cars!
