As I understand it, the stress from the weight of the car will cause the
rubber at the contact patch to cure differently, and this could potentially
could cause small issues with wear, durability, or stiction. Probably not a
massive one, but enough to make it wear unevenly and slow you down slightly.
Jacking the car up or pulling the tires off for 24 or 48 hours after heat
cycling will prevent this.
