My wife and I are looking for a new car to autox, and we're seriously
considering the 1999 (or 2000) Miata. I'd like to get some advice on which
options are the best choice for autox. My only requirement is to have A/C
in the car as summers around here are unbearable without it. And I would
*like* to have the optional hardtop for winter, but can live without it if
the preferred autox package is one that it isn't available with.
Is the Sport Package the way to go? The 10th Anniversery Edition? What will
I need to change or modify to be competive in Stock class?
Can anybody help? Please reply directly. I'm on the digest, plus I doubt
it's a subject that most of the list will care about. :-)
