The Brits don't always call out 30 wt.
My Triumph TR6 has an A type overdrive and the recommended oil is 80 or
90 wt EP gear oil depending on the temperature.
This is the same overdrive that is used in my Healey where they call out
the use of 30 wt engine oil.
