If the glove box & the trunk are not keyed alike it may pay to buy a
glove box lock & have the Locksmith key the trunk to it. The trunk
cylinder lends itself easier to service, the glove box requires prying
back a factory pressed on cap that is difficult to resecure, but can be
done with experience. The doors, trunk & glove box are simple wafer
locks & can be carefully taken apart for service. Cutting a single sided
key from code should be under $15.00 unless your local guy thinks he's
the only one in the world who knows how to take it apart. If no code is
available, decoding is definitely more money, but should be under $35.00
for the trunk or doors.
I would suggest whether you replace or decode you write down the codes &
store them in a safe place. You can always make a key from code that
will be as perfect as the original.
