Shane TR3's from '57 on and TR4's had disk brakes w/no booster. Personally, never any trouble stopping them. Think the booster is a concession to weak right feet. (or should that be foots?) The power bulge came from the early TR4's. They had SU carbs and they were/are slightly taller than Strombergs, hence the bulge for carb. clearance. Bill '70 6 |
