I thought the TR3/4 have no booster.  If that is true, then how do they get
away with it?  I think also the DB4s and 5 had no booster.  Probably many
others.  I have come to think that boosters are a part of the "softening" of
cars as they have evolved over the past 100 years.

I'm not using it to clear any part of my motor, just to provide air.  In
building my car, I am "borrowing" design cues from earlier TRs (specifically
the 4/5/250).  The fender vents have a function.  I am giving the "power
bulge" a function.  The door handles from the TR4 give a cleaner line.
There may also be dashboard cues from the TR4, but I'm not yet at that
stage.
