Hi guys,
This is interesting. My TR250 is Royal Blue and was definitely body color on
both sides of the valance. Is it possible that Triumph did it both ways? I
know Tom's TR250 is white. You think they blacked out the front on the
lighter cars? You think they were just toying with us because they knew it
would drive us NUTS? TR4's and TR6's are body color for sure, so that's my
story and I'm sticking to it. Wheels were black unless you had wires. But
how about those ignition wires? Were the green like the TR6 or were they
black with Champion ends? What about that Silver Stripe? Were some of them
done with 3M Reflective Tape? What about the seat belts? Did they have the
Triumph Shield or did they say Standpart? Were the rockers blacked out or
were they body color? Whatever your answers are you gotta love the bridge
car to the Last of the Hairy Chested Ones. Did you know that there were
fewer 69 TR6's imported to the US than TR250's?
Cheers,
Darrell
