I have heard that you do NOT want to use Simple Green on aluminum. I'd also be really careful not to mix ammonia with chlorine compounds. I have heard that some folks got real dead after mixing ammo

Hi Phil, This unit has two ultrasonic tanks about 15"x20"x20" and one that appears to be set-up for rinsing parts. The whole unit is the size of a decent workbench and weighs several hundred pounds.

This is true, but it is noted in the spec sheet for Simple Green. It will slowly attack aluminum alloys (using it as an ultrasonic detergent would accelerate its erosive properties). Cheers. -- Micha
