That may be what the factory recommended in the mid-60's for the 5.60-14 bias-ply tires, but I never go below 30 lbs on mine. It may ride more harshly, but it isn't going to roll a tire off the rim.

The regular 1979-85 RX-7 used a 4x110mm pattern, which will not work. The 1984-85 GSL-SE used a 4x114.3mm which is the same as 4x4.5". The 1986-88 SE also used the 4x114.3mm pattern. -- Gordon Glasgo

I'd agree with Don Miller on this. It does depend on your tires and your driving style. Assuming you are using "merely" high-performance street tires and not R-compound stickies, I'd start at 38 all
