One more thought.. How about letting these types just enter non-competition. Where they still get to sit next to other like cars, no big entry fees, no trophy's, just fun. For instance, we have an original '74 Spitfire, bought by my husband's father brand new. Is it concourse? No. Is it completely original? You bet, there's no question about the paint, interior, engine compartment, etc. We would love to talk to other Spit owners about this car, but are rarely given the opportunity, since we would never enter in a real 'competition'.
