My first drive in a RHD car was in a race in a borrowed Lotus 11. Shifting with the left hand was easy and being on the right side weighted the car better and made it easier to see most of the apexes. It was the old-style European pedal set-up with the throttle between the brake and clutch that kept your attention! (How long ago? Well, I was not vintage racing.) Ross Fosbender, Ottawa IL |
