Love that story John!  I just removed my original 67 TR4A fibreboard tranny 
tunnel cover and will keep it in storage as one of my TR museum pieces.  I put 
in a plastic cover that didnâ??t fit as well but is installed.  I did put the 
original overdrive cover plates on the plastic cover just like the original.
