It could be that the Pull-in coil is not working.=C2=A0 With the car sitti=
ng still and no accumulator pressure less force is required to move the lev=
er.=C2=A0 Under way the solenoid needs to overcome the built-up pressure.
As you may know the A-type solenoid has two coils.=C2=A0 The high current P=
ull-in coil will pull the solenoid in with extra force and once it pulls al=
l the way in a switch will deactivate it and the low current Hold-In coil =
will keep it there.=C2=A0 The Hold-In may have enough force to pull the act=
uator lever if there is no pressure resisting it.
Also note that if the solenoid is not adjusted properly and does not pull i=
n far enough to hit the switch the Pull-In coil will remain energized and w=
ill burn out.=C2=A0 This could be the problem.
