The 89s are supposed to be a drop-in, but my understanding is that the OD
of the liner is larger, to keep an acceptable wall thickness through the
water jacket. Hence, it's not possible to just bore a smaller liner to
89mm. Also, since the water passages are smaller, overheating can be a
problem (as always <g>)
