I bought a great sounding pair of Advent indoor/outdoor speakers at Costco
that come in their own tuned enclosures and have removable mounting brackets
attached. Using the rear deck hard top fixing bolts, these hang below the
rear deck, in front of the rear panel and can be easily removed for stowage.
Of course, if you have soft top folded down, this won't work. I don't have a
soft top installed at all, so it works ideally for my particular needs. The
speakers are hidden nicely by the hood stowage cover.
Take care,

Anyone got any suggestions on where to put speakers in a 76 spit? The better
half wants a radio in it and I would rather just listen to the engine,(guess
who won). The ones I have are 6 1/2' rounds. I would rather not try to put
them in the doors, so does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
