Nope.  Maryland has no such thing as a salvage title.  I've owned several 
vehicles
that were purchased from scrap yards, totaled, and with mechanics leans.  The 
guy
at the junk yard doesn't have a title to the vehicle, and doesn't want to get
popped for having a stolen vehicle that he sells to you.
