Although a two post lift allows you to work on the suspension easier,
there is a problem with tightening things up.  The car is supposed to be
at "ride height" before you tighten all the bushings.  It's hard to do
that with the suspension drooping.  Along the same reasons that a two
post lift isn't a good idea for storing a car.

However, there is one option to consider if you might like a two post
lifts - "Tire Engaging Adapters" for you 2 post lift:

It's kind of the best of both worlds.  Still probably not the best for
storage though.

I've also seen optional "runners" that attach to the two post lift arms
that convert it into a drive on lift with full length ramps.

But I'll still probably get a four post lift some day...
