Rick-

Don't see how the balancer came off without removing the crank bolt. The
bolt is what is supposed to keep it from going through your radiator &
ruining your day. There should be a large thick washer under the bolt head
to assist in preventing disaster.

Feel free to call. I have a Buick & Olds balancer at the house. No Rover
parts to compare, sorry to say.
