If you have a roll bar, it would be easy to make one with velcro straps so that 
it can be removed...

Have a look at high end Roadsters - Porsche, BMW, Mercedes - they all have a 
windblock to stop the curling (eddie) effect as the air moves over the 
windshield and curls back.  I've seen afetrmarket items for MGB's, Triumphs, 
Miatas that attach to rollbars to curb this effect.
