I would say that if the car, no matter what brand, is kept in the garage or
not driven there is no significant difference and a rear shield is not
necessary.
I have never observed a cold draft on my neck when in a car that I don't
drive. It doesn't seem practical to sit in a stationary car with the top
down during a storm to see what happens.
