It isnt that I dont believe anyone about the Solex option "stuff". And certainly I cant be called a nit picker. Especially since I have done things to my 67.5 that would make it unoriginal. Red interior...? Please! But I understand how my original email may have been taken incorrectly so I will redo it to make it sound more appropriate. Is there a way to distinguish which cars were original Solex cars? I know that in 1967 is was a dealer option. In 1968-70 the carbs were not options but rather a parts counter purchase due to emission controls. I was wondering...... ;>) if there is a way to tell which cars were the original Solex cars. Is the ID tag marked 150hp? How about you Canadian folks...? Your cars didnt come with smog equipment. Did it? Maybe in Canada 1968-70 cars were also dealer options. Were they? Thanks you, Calspeed |
