I don't think Calspeed was trying to nit pick about I.D. plates, and Sid's
answer was right on the money.
Just slapping a pair of Solexes on the car at the dealership wasn't all that
was involved in getting a true Solex car.
As I learned when I thought thats all I needed to do.
You also need the Solex B Cam, the original cars also had a larger finned pan.
Preferences aside, as long as you enjoy your roadster, no matter what year or
engine configuration, that is all that matters!!!
