Hi again,

Thanks for the suggestions about the holes. Got several windshild washer
suggestions but it's not that. The washer holes are on either side of the
grill on the cowl. These holes are on the flat shelf under the hood (the
same flat surface the Vin plate is mounted on. This also eliminates hood
release access as they are both covered when the hood is closed.

Only suggestion that makes sense so far is that they are some type of
alingment points used in mfg'ing. Which brings the next question. Does this
mean that every low windshield car has these holes? OK - all you low shield
owners - what d'ya got. All I can say is if they are factory, they are worst
type of factory holes I've ever seen.
