What about an underlay?  Wasn't there a horse hair one originally?  Do
replacement carpet kits come w/ one?  It would cut down on some road noise
and be softer.  Larry.

Taylor,

I didn't put snaps on mine and whatever you do DON"T glue the carpet down as
these cars leak and you may want to lift them up if it gets really wet. The
snaps can be bought, if you want, at an upholstry shop or a catalog.
