90 octane is mostly used for American imports in Germany.
They save a few pennies on a tank. I dont remember the
name (super plus extra???) and I have only seen it on Shell
stations in Germany so far. Maybe for the GT-1 street cars
and a few others. 98 octane is good enough for
most cars but there's no lead substitute in anything here
and it hasn't been for a while. Only MTBE but that will be
gone any year.
