Are there not any readily available spring alternatives for the roadster
between stock and the NISMO springs like we have for the 510 and Z
(Suspension Tech or TMC)? How about local spring shops in larger cities?
What about sway bar sets and maybe panhard rods? Is the potential market
so small that no one wants to bother? Weird.
I realize that rear sway bars aren't as common on rear leaf spring cars,
but it seems that the same techniques to improve handling would apply to
the roadster as to the 510 and Z. Keep the spring and shock rates
reasonable to keep the tires on the road and use sway bars to control
body roll. I know Hotchkiss has a kit for the late Chevy/GMC P/U that
drops the truck some and includes new F/R springs, sway bars (stock comes
front only) and a panhard rod. No I don't have it, they get $1500 for the
bits, plus shocks! I'd rather put the $1500 into the E/P car. I did put
Bilsteins on the truck though. What a difference.
