I've read all the bumpf about Miatas, MGs, Triumphs, etc., and while I do not 
disagree, the question I would pose is 'how many males does one see driving 
Miatas?"  Certainly in my neck of the woods, the Miata seems to be the 
sporting lady's choice of transport.  The BMW Z3, essentially a Miata on 
steroids, appears to appeal to male equivalent.  Gone are the days of the 
real open sports car.
