Thanks, Pat. I'm very much aware of and very comfortable with the fact that
I don't drive my car very well. The competition aspect is what will drive
me to drive better! There are thousands of different arenas I could compete
in, but none that's as fun, win or (as is ALWAYS the case EVERY SINGLE TIME
and by SEVERAL seconds) lose, as autocross.
I'm very excited that this challenge as come into my life: Stop overdriving
the car! I'm going to learn how to keep the wheels on the ground in the
next few months. THEN I'll need your help with the overinflated ego. :)
Hopefully this thread will answer some other Novice's questions about how
these series fit together. When I woke up this morning, I was incorrectly
under the impression that they were related in some way beyond the year at
the end of their titles..
