I think it's too early to restrict SM. As for Hondas being scared away, the 
top STOCK Honda at Nationals was faster than the winning SM car.

With all the wild possibilities in power trains and bodies (i.e. 
aerodynamics), who knows what's possible in this class. There are barely 
enough entrants this year. I think it needs another year or three of growth 
and experimentation to shake out before making drastic changes.
