How do you enfoce the current R/DOT tires. How do you test the compounds?
So many things that change compounds are done during there manfacture you
never be able to just there you X-Brand tester on it. How do you test ply
construction? To you rip the tire apart ply by ply and measure every
angle, every thickness of every strand. What about the binders that hold
it together. So the way I see it people can have cheater tires with the
curret ruls. Does this mean all all go just change the rules and for get
DOT, buy real race non-DOT tires. there more to a tire then a side wall
thickness and a durmeter. I jsut remember an SAE class when the guy said
the two hardest thing to reverse enginner are tires and brake pads.
Meaning it almsot imposible to copy or tell the differace in them untill
they are actualy in use then you see the perforance. Of course he could
have been wrong about the tires he was a brake pad guy, wiht jsut a little
tire experince. But they are both very complex items that have 100's of
varibles.

And ECU that is totaly unenforcable, and you can get some good power
there if its done right and if the right guy does it you can tell no
differance unless you get inside the code/program.
