Assuming 3600 lbs with driver and fuel, 104 mph trap speed is about 280 to 290
rwhp.  Most stock LT1s in a 3600 lb car run 98-101 mph trap speed which relates
to their 260-275 rwhp.  Most LT4s run 107-110 which relates to their 310-330
rwhp.  Most LS1s run 106-109 reflecting their 300-320 rwhp output.  The new
Mustang will weigh approximately the 3600 lbs wet with driver also.  I suspect
that they will run 102-105 mph stock, which will indicate (if true) about
275-285 rwhp.  However their gearing and torque curve is probably not as good
as the FBod for autox.

Again if the 104 quoted is with a heavier car we can safely assume it requires
more hp.  <g>

The 13.4 is meanless as a dyno figure as it is greatly effected by the ability
to get power down, but trap speed is a very good indicator of hp.  Now the
Supra may weigh more wet with driver than the 3600 lbs.

Rich, was Steve's car 315 hp on the Dynojet dyno at Vegas on Halloween??

For those of you interested their is a 32,000 mile running LT4 that is stock
and producing 330 hp at the rear wheels that is for sale.  It is being replaced
by a 396 under construction.  It is a heck of a deal for an ESP driver that
feels underpowered in his LT1.
