Why couldn't you use the standard Alpine oil pump and just add extra oil to
bring the oil level up to match the "High-Low" marks on the standard oil
dipstick, if you install a longer pickup shaft wouldn't you always read
"Low" or Lower" on the dipstick ? Larger sump =  more oil?
