[TR] Storing my car

Being in Connecticut, our last drive of the year tends to be in late October
or early November. I usually try to fill the tank up in the early fall, as I
think "summer" gas winters over fairly well, especially compared to "winter"
gas being held over during the summer. The car is stored in the unheated
upstairs of a shop/barn. The first floor of the barn is heated throughout
the winter and I would like to think that helps to keep the humidity down
where the car and several older farm tractors are stored. Other than the
time it takes for the fuel pump to fill the carburettors, our TR6 starts up
and runs well after 4 - 5 months in storage. I also try to hook up a trickle
charge for a day or two every month or so.

If you are looking for a longer storage time, maybe a "dry" fuel system may
be the way to go.

I will be storing my TR4A for the next year. What's the group's advice -
store with empty or full fuel tank?

TIA,

Cliff
