I usually try to fill the tank up in the early fall, as I think "summer" gas winters over fairly well, especially compared to "winter" gas being held over during the summer. The car is stored in the unheated upstairs of a shop/barn. The first floor of the barn is heated throughout the winter and I would like to think that helps to keep the humidity down where the car and several older farm tractors are stored. Other than the time it takes for the fuel pump to fill the carburettors, our TR6 starts up and runs well after 4 - 5 months in storage.
