Since there is a naked flame in my garage in Florida, I always drain the car when we leave after the winter.  On the other hand I always fill up the cars in Michigan – maybe it’s just easier.  But if you are going to store it with a full tank, be sure to add some fuel  stabilizer:  one year I forget and the fuel deteriorated over the winter – the car pinged and ran terribly until I realized what it was.
