[TR] Hoses to carbon canister for Triumphs similar to that used on a TR6

Hello Dave,
Just for clarification.
I have a canister with 3 ports.
1 goes to the tank. ( understood - put an air filter on this line)
1 comes from the valve cover breather and from each carb. Block this off at
the canister. (Since I'm assuming this introduces some air from the bottom
of the canister, do I need to adjust fuel air ratio?
1 connects to the carbs (above in photo (42 and 44) . Does this vent to
air?
What have I gained by removing all this? As I said I have the parts readily
available.

For other folks who have replied. I will take this stuff to my local NAPA
as I need some vacuum hoses as well.
Regards, Sujit
