[TR] Does a manual geatbox from a Stag share any components from other Triumphs?

Finally after many years of having a Triumph Stag's manual gearbox with J
type over drive sitting in my parents shed in the UK, I was able to
disassemble it as much as possible and bring it back to the US in two boxes
weighing less that 20kg each and one hand bag weighing almost 10 Kg. Oddly
enough the gear sector did resemble some sort of machine gun on the x ray
machine.

I am yet to take off the large bearing at the rear of the box to withdraw
the shaft or the counter shaft.

It looks like people are swapping out the carrier sleeve and replacing it
with a longer one. Do other Triumphs share this?

Does this gear box share gaskets and seal with other models?

Should I change out the clutch release fork. I removed the bolt holding it
on the shaft, but it is stuck any recommendations on getting this off?

While the overdrive is in bits what should I look for?
