[Mgs] starter issues

56 MGA, in pretty good shape mechanically.  one 12 volt battery in pretty good shape I think.  no other electrical issues. 

pull the starter, and you get a grunt, another grunt, then it cranks over and starts.  drive it for an hour, stop for gas, and it still does it.  charge the battery all day and it still does it.

maybe try cleaning the grounds and contacts?  new starter?

thoughts?
