Sounds to me that when it's idling, the engine is running on the front
carb only. At higher RPM it's running on the front carb mostly. IOW,
the carbs aren't synched. That bouncing up and down of the front piston
in time with the misfire is caused by the difference of the air draw as
the engine RPM varies in time with the miss. The TC owner has to make
sure the ignition is working right & the valves are adjusted correctly
before trying to adjust the carbs.
