[Fot] Canopy question

I live in the Columbia Gorge, one of the windiest inland places on earth. People who don’t live here come and set up their EZ Ups with stakes, buckets of concrete, dirt screws, whatever. If the wind comes up to what we call “nuking” the canopy will wind up somewhere in Idaho. The power of the wind increases as the square of velocity.  You could get a Cirque de Soleil style circus tent and a crew of twenty to stake it down, or just take your EZ down. EZ-up--EZ down. If I’m using it as a car cover I lower it and tie it to the roll bar. So far, Peyote hasn’t blown to any nearby states. Nothing i know will prevent the canopy from dumping a bucket of ice cold water down your back when you’re trying to push the water belly out with a broom.
