hoke is the issue and leaking fuel back in so the bar thing to do is take i=
t off and get it Bruce to rebuild it.=C2=A0If anybody else what to join in =

My 1979 Spitfire is running very rich (to the point of black smoke coming o=
ut of exhaust).=C2=A0 I attempted to adjust the carburetor needle valve by =
starting with the needle valve all the way out and turning using the Allen =
key adjustment tool to turn 1/4 turn at a time.=C2=A0 This had no effect.=
=C2=A0 Using a screwdriver to lift the carb piston still resulted in the en=
gine rpm increasing.=C2=A0 I started over in the full rich position and tur=
ned the Allen key 3 turns to the lean position.=C2=A0 This had no effect.=
=C2=A0 Any suggestions?
