My initial response was that the Lotus VI with a 1500cc engine has always been classed by the SVRA as a sports racer in Group Four and I thought that was an appropriate classification. I don't know why SVRA would change that classification without notice (I sometimes run my Lotus VI with SVRA and received no notice) and why they would put a 1500cc car in Group One, which, by definition, is limited to cars with no more than 1300cc engines. |
